What is Rollo: the disposable digital camera for events
We bring back the thrill of a single roll — with QR invites, unlimited guests, and a reveal everyone experiences at once.
The group photo problem
At weddings, birthdays or trips, every guest takes hundreds of phone photos. Some are great, but they scatter across WhatsApp, AirDrop or disappearing stories. The organizer chases files the next day, and the surprise of seeing the event through everyone’s eyes is lost.
The roll metaphor
Rollo works like a shared disposable digital camera: you create an event, set how many shots each person gets, and pick a reveal time. Until then, nobody sees anyone else’s photos — not even you as the host. Guests shoot inside the app only; no need to share their camera roll.
How it works in practice
The host creates a roll in seconds and shares a code or QR. Guests join, pick a name, and shoot. When reveal hits, the album opens for the whole group.
Not “another shared album app”
Traditional albums upload in real time. Rollo bets on anticipation and limits: a few good shots beat a hundred repeats, and the reveal turns opening the album into a moment — not admin work.
