Terms of Use

Last updated: May 2026

1. Acceptance

By using the Rollo app or this website, you accept these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The service

Rollo enables collaborative photo events with a shared reveal. The service may change, be suspended, or discontinued with reasonable notice when possible.

3. Eligibility

Minors must have parent or guardian authorization where required by law.

4. Account

You may sign in anonymously, with email, Apple, or Google. You are responsible for use of your device and account. Invite codes should only be shared with people authorized by the organizer.

5. Your photos and content

You are responsible for content you capture. You represent that you have the right to share it in the event and that it does not violate law or third-party rights (image, privacy, intellectual property).

You grant us a limited license to host and display content only to provide the service (including reveal to event members). We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms.

6. In-app purchases

Some events allow expanding guests through purchases processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play (technically managed with RevenueCat). Prices are shown in the store. Refunds follow Apple or Google policies.

Example tiers: free start (5 guests), paid per-event upgrades up to an unlimited plan per store prices.

7. Prohibited use

8. Intellectual property

Rollo, its brand, and software belong to the service owner or licensors. These terms do not transfer rights in the brand or code to you.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is”, without warranties of continuous availability, indefinite photo retention, or notifications working at all times.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages or lost profits. Aggregate liability, where permitted, shall not exceed amounts paid for in-app purchases in the prior 12 months or EUR 50 if none. EU consumers retain mandatory rights.

11. Apple and Google

Apple and Google distribute the app and process payments; they are not responsible for Rollo content or service as provider. In-app purchases are also subject to each store’s terms.

12. Governing law

Except mandatory rules of your country of consumption, these terms are governed by the laws of Austria. Jurisdiction: competent courts in Austria. EU consumers may bring claims in their country of residence where mandatory by law.

13. Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the current version will be on this page.
